Ultimate Big Brother contestantPreston has revealed that he didn't want his marriage to Chantelle Houghton to end after 10 months.The former Ordinary Boys frontman fled to Philadelphia to avoid a nervous breakdown as their relationship failed, but he sent Chantelle a ticket in August 2007, so she could fly out to America to meet up with him.
'I bought that ticket as a birthday present,' he recalls.
'I thought that was going to be our make-or-break meeting. I was going to take her to Mexico and I thought it would be an opportunity for us to live away from prying eyes for a while.'
But Preston, 28, didn't get a chance to have his heart-to-heart with Chantelle, 27, over tequila and tacos.
'I went to the airport and she wasn't there,' he reveals. 'I called her and she said she didn't want to come.'
